This new luxury sedan, which belongs to the D+ segment is expected to reach the Indian market by the early quarter of next year, ie 2012.

This new BMW 8 Series might feature either a 6 cylinder or a 8 cylinder engine with all new 8-speed transmission. The company might start the sale only with a Petrol engine, which will be later joined by it's Diesel variant.
